For Creators & Home Cooks
Your recipes, in front of the cooks who will love them
Whether you are a food creator, a chef, or a passionate home cook, publish your dishes on Ecobite for free - complete with automatic nutrition and footprint ratings.
Free to join, free to publish - right in your browser.
Discover
Matched with the cooks who love your style
On Ecobite, every user's home feed fills with dishes that match their diet, allergies, and taste profile - putting your recipes directly in front of the people most likely to cook them. Your followers see your newest creations straight away, while search and dietary filters help new audiences discover your work.
Create
Write recipes the way you actually cook
Add ingredients in spoons, cloves, or grams, write steps in your own voice, and upload your own photography. Mrs Corn's library of classic global dish templates gives you an instant head start so you rarely have to begin from scratch. Publish to the whole Ecobite community, or keep a recipe private for friends and family.
Personalise
Their twist, your credit
Cooks can adapt your recipe to fit their kitchen - swapping an ingredient, adjusting portions, or tweaking a step. Every adapted version permanently displays a "Personalised from" link with your name and original recipe, so your attribution and traffic always trace right back to you.
In the app
Your recipes, showcased and rated automatically

-
A creator profile of your own
Your photo and name sit on every recipe card. One tap takes cooks to your dedicated profile - bringing all your recipes together in one place where people can follow your kitchen.
-
Both ratings, calculated automatically
Skip manual nutrition calculators. As you add ingredients, Ecobite automatically works out the nutrition rating and the footprint of your dish - showing which ingredients shape them, with the footprint right on the card.
-
A spotlight for standout dishes
The community's most-loved and best-rated recipes are featured across the app, giving your finest dishes organic reach without fighting social media algorithms.
Your own online cookbook
Whether you're a content creator, a home cook or a chef, Ecobite gives your recipes a home, with your name on every one. And soon you'll be able to earn from your cooking too, with premium recipes.

FAQ
Questions, answered
How do I become a creator?
Anyone who loves to cook can be one, and there's no application. Open the app at ecobite.io, make a free account and add your first recipe: that's all it takes. See how it works for creators.
Is it free to publish?
Yes, publishing your recipes on Ecobite is completely free.
Can I earn money from my recipes?
Soon, yes. We're working on premium recipes, which will let you sell selected recipes and earn from your own content. We'll announce it here and in the app as soon as it launches.
Can I keep a recipe private, or share it only with some people?
Yes. You choose for each recipe whether it is public or private, and you can change your mind later. A private recipe stays out of the lists and the search, but anyone you send its link to can open it, so it's also the way to share a recipe with just the people you choose.
Can other people copy my recipe?
Others can personalise a public recipe, which gives them their own version to change. Yours stays exactly as you wrote it and your photos aren't copied over. If they make their version public, you get the credit: a note shows it was personalised from yours. Their version stays theirs, even if you later delete yours. Would you rather keep a recipe as yours alone? Just set it to private.
Who is credited when a personalised recipe is personalised again?
When you personalise from someone, if someone then personalises from your recipe, credit will go back to the original recipe holder. This is to avoid long chains of personalisation that can be used to avoid giving credit to the original creator.
Can I post recipes from a cookbook or another website?
Please share only words and photos that are your own, or that you have permission to use. Recipes and photos from cookbooks and other sites usually belong to someone else, even when they're easy to copy. A dish cooked your own way, written up in your own words with your own photo, is always welcome. Our terms have the details.
Can I edit or delete a recipe after publishing?
Yes, whenever you like. Edit a recipe and its ratings are worked out again straight away. Delete one and it's gone from Ecobite, though people who had already tracked or personalised it keep their own copy.
Who owns my recipes?
Your recipes and photos always stay yours. When you publish them, you give Ecobite permission to show them in the app and on our website, always with credit to you and a link to your profile.
How are my recipes scored?
Exactly like every other recipe on Ecobite: a nutrition rating for how nourishing it is, and a footprint rating worked out from life cycle data. It all happens automatically, so you can focus on the cooking. See how we score.
